My "life-long" fickle-hearted partner of 13 years tramped off with another man last year so I've been 'thrown back on the market', so to speak ;)

I'm seeking a new partner to share the adventure of life with. I'm independently minded, on my own path, but respect those qualities in others too.

I've spent much of my life long distance sailing exploring this world - yet I retain a fascination with Wales, its history, language and hidden treasures. Currently I'm developing a small farm here with orchards and gardens on an ancient site in the hills.

I'm well-read, a thinker and a writer, but not a walking talking self-centred ego, remaining considerate and genuinely interested in others.

What makes a good (romantic) relationship? Chemistry essentially, along with communicating honestly and clearly with each other - devoid of deception and 'head games'.

My ideal partner would have her feet on the ground, be genuinely interested in the physical world (not just another smartphone addict), and be wiling to communicate and share without ulterior motives, but rather an genuine interest to connect with a like-minded soul.

Is that asking too much? Probably. But there it is.
