Youngish 63 with loads of love to give and lots of laughs to be had. We are told/advised to just be yourself so I have done and got nowhere really. Also we're advised when typing this to keep it quirky, funny, upbeat & interesting - well that's easier said than done. They advise don't go on too much but say what is important to you. Ok, well I am solvent and own my own home. I enjoy my jobs delivering school dinners and medication (doing some good out there). I'm big into music especially into "mod" music - Paul Weller, The Who etc, Soul & Motown, Irish, a bit of country, some rock, some dance...& spend quite a bit of time at local gigs and going further afield for the music too. I've done the karaoke too & i still get invited back into the pub, ha. When i was a youngster in church with mum & dad & it came to singing hymns well i gave it my best shot but mum said "i know you're trying your best love but better mime i think - it was a case of "all things bright but not quite so beautiful" I like comedy too with Billy Connolly, Jasper Carrot, Peter kay. If at cinema i would opt for comedy. Considering just how much time I spend going to the gigs I'm hoping to attract a lady with similar intent really. I've enjoyed some long haul travelling about 20 years ago when I combined the gigs with going to NZ, Oz, USA &Canada, but these days I'm happy enough getting away to Benidorm. I've been a swimmer (1-3 miles for Cancer Research), played football for Lancaster College & jogged for a few decades. Nowadays my football is concentrated into kicking the ball about with 4 year old fantastic little lad 2 doors away, I love it, but it also reminds me how sad i am not to have any kids myself...Still, we have to be grateful for what we do have - there's always someone else worse off - so i say embrace life, get out of it as much as possible & "make love not war". If any of you lovely ladies have made it to the end of my typing and choose to send me a line then that would be a bonus, in the meantime take good care of yourselves x.
