flyingback is single and is seeking females for a serious relationship.

I'm originally born in the UK but I've spent the past decade or more travelling around the world.

I've just turned 40 and until a few years ago, I thought I was "finally" figuring it all out: I'd manage to cut my bad habits down to a few odd things (I like food a bit too much, I'm too much of a night owl, I'm sometimes too impulsive etc).

I'd also finally got a grip and conquered some of my demons - including becoming a regular gym goer. After a lifetime of being a nomad, I'd even set down roots. All I felt I needed was the cherry on the top: the person I was going to spend the rest of my life with.

Sadly one of the things I've learned about life is just when you know you have all the answers, the questions change. I've spent much of the last few years trying to find new and interesting ways to hit rock bottom :D Hopefully I'm on the way back up!

Anyway I've just returned to the UK. It's my first time back home in over a decade and I'm not quite sure what to make of it all. Anyone who has spent a considerable amount of time away from home probably knows what I'm going through - it's not just the change of going from tropical sunshine in a coastal city to the freezing UK winter but also questions about what kind of country I've returned to...

Oh well, that's just life - I'm excited and trepid in equal measures and I'd love to meet new people who might want to become part of my life in the next phase I'm about to embark upon!
