What do you like most about where you currently live?

It's quiet and secluded and a world away from where I work.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

The people I work with. The work is sometimes challenging and interesting as well.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

DIY, gardening (mowing the lawn that is). Tried flowers (but the deer ate them all) and messing about with cars and computers.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I haven't seen the whole world yet. I'll let you know when I have!

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Canada, New Zealand, Orkneys, Shetlands.

What would you do on an ideal date?

A walk by the river in the sunshine. Not too close to the water, though. If the date goes wrong I'm not much of a swimmer!

What are you looking for in a partner?

I'll know when I find out. Always dangerous to have preconceived ideas about what you'd like about someone.

What makes a good relationship?

Laughter and respect.

What makes you laugh?

Usual stuff. Two Ronnies, Morecombe and Wise, etc. Not keen on humour that relies on foul language to shock, although I occasionally make allowances for Billy Connolly.

What music do you like?

Just about anything. Really! Bluegrass, disco, pop, rock, etc. Not that keen on C&W or rap but occasionally something grabs my attention.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Having three fantastic sons.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Nothing planned. Just enjoy whatever happens.
