I am looking to meet a woman who is respectful, kind, thoughtful and passionate. I do have friends and family that are important to me. I enjoy long walks, cooking, dancing, and arts and crafts; I am into embroidery, making buttons etc

I walk most days and sometimes, you may find me walking up the hills and valleys of the Lake District or Peak District. I do treat myself to a nice concert or theatre play. Tchaikovsky, Hans Zimmerman, Ludovico Einaudi You name it but I can be content with sitting at home on a cold winter Sunday sipping a cup of tea.

I am not your typical man, I go for what I want, I'm unconventional and I do tend to enjoy all the great things life has to offer. I do approach life with a touch of innocence. I do not let the ills of society jade my experience with others or cloud my judgement. I always come from a purview of how does this work? instead of writing things or people off based on superficial things.

I am an hopeless romantic and I'll tend to go above and beyond for those that matter to me. My values are honesty, kindness, empathy and respect. I am not hung up about age either. I think there are lots of interesting people in the world and they come in varying shapes, heights, sizes and ages so I will not limit myself of the possibility of finding someone that is right for me just because of their age. What matters is a person's, heart and their personality. That's my two cents on the matter.

About my ideal match
As for what I am looking for, I am in search of a woman who is open minded, honest, able to express their thoughts (no point bottling up feelings), respectful, adventurous and able to stand their ground. I want an equal in every sense of the word. Someone I can live life with (I don't mean together in a house). I also want someone who has a positive mindset and mature in their thinking. Adventure is a must. There's beauty in this world so why not explore it
