DIYandDaydreams is divorced and is seeking males for a serious relationship.

I'm 45, a teaching assistant (atm), mum to two adults children and currently discovering that I quite enjoy DIY projects (although my upstairs toilet might disagree!).

I'm happiest having a proper laugh with people I'm comfortable around. I enjoy cosy nights in, days out exploring somewhere new, live music, theatre, museums and the occasional bit of karaoke when nobody important is listening.

Life has taught me that kindness, honesty and consistency matter far more than grand gestures. I'm looking for someone easy to talk to, who can make me smile, and who genuinely wants to get to know someone rather than just collect matches.

I don't need constant excitement. I'd much rather have good conversation, plenty of laughs and someone who enjoys the simple things in life.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

I love South Shields my home town. It has a great coastline.
I love the local parks where I live

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I am currently changing jobs. I work in a school and I am a teaching assistant atm, however I am currently training to be admin assistant and I take on this role full time in September.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I enjoy gaming on my computer. I like gardening. I love watching netflix shows. I am currently doing up my house

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I haven't travelled too far in my lifetime but I am hoping to change this. I recently visited Tenerife which was lovely.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I would love to visit Japan and Australia

What would you do on an ideal date?

A drink and a chat or a walk and a chat.

What are you looking for in a partner?

I am looking for someone who can make me laugh. Someone who is loyal and loving.

What makes a good relationship?

Honest communication is a must. Someone who is not looking for someone to look after him and cook and clean for him. Relationships must be equal, respectful and loving.

What makes you laugh?

I love Lee Evans, but I quite like a bit of Jimmy Carr too

What music do you like?

I listen to lots of popular music, but I am really into Weezer.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

The highlight of my life was having my 2 children, who are now both adults.

In the future I would like to see more of the world
