I’m Dave, 44 — a cancer survivor, former emergency services worker of 23+ years, and currently plotting a career change for a better work–life balance (and more fun). I’m back living in Haslemere after seven years in Dover.
I enjoy the gym when I can (weights over cardio, if we’re being honest), the odd martial arts class, and switching off with a good book. I come as part of a small rescue package too — two cats and a dog who think they own the place.
Random but true: I can read Hebrew, and I’m currently learning Welsh — Ydw i’n dysgu Cymraeg ar hyn o bryd. Bonus points if you ask me why 😉
