What do you like most about where you currently live?

It's near my family. Easy access to public transport. Lovely country park and walking near by. New home. New chapter. Keeps me busy.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Retired now but still meet with old colleagues for a bite to eat and glass or two.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I enjoy swimming and walking. Love to be near the sea. Gardening is a passion. Just landscaped my back garden through the winter.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Have been very fortunate to have travelled to many countries. Also have lived abroad. Saudi Arabia. Jordan. Egypt. Cyprus. Corfu. Tenerife. Ibiza. Spain. Turkey. Plus beautiful Ireland and Scotland. Difficult to say which was my real favourite. So many wonderful experiences.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Italy. Switzerland and Germany. Maybe a nice river cruise.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Meet at a quayside. Take a boat trip. Then have lunch.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Mutual respect. Honesty. Kindness. A shared commitment of friendship that hopefully will last. Understanding and shared purpose to each other and life and it's challenges. Someone who won't let go at the first hurdle. Have faith in each other and belief in the relationship. Limitless possibilities and maybe more than friendship.

What makes a good relationship?

Being faithful loyal kind supportive and having a good sense of humour. Standing together when things get tough. Having each other's backs. Being able to show affection at a drop of a hat and not being embarrassed. Caring. Sharing. Being one together.

What makes you laugh?

A good sense of humour. A group of great people enjoying each other's company. Friends and family. LOVE. Being happy. Contentment.

What music do you like?

80s but mostly a mixture of things. Genesis and Phil Collins. Lovely Lionel Richie. Barry White too. Diana Ross. Motown. Teddy Swims of late. Then Andre Bocelli.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Having my two beautiful daughters and then 3 grandchildren. Marrying my best friend of 45 years twice.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

It would be lovely to meet someone again and be able to share everything with them. Would love to do a few more trips with company. A future with limitless possibilities. To enjoy every day as if it's my last.

Would you like to be in love again.

Yes I would like to think that there is someone else out there for me. An emotional connection. Someone who can be devoted to me. Loyal with a lasting special bond. Being a couple facing life and not alone any more.
