What do you like most about where you currently live?

Not too many people, near to the coast.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Ideal first date would be a relaxed daytime meet - coffee, tea - with space to talk and get to know one another. As a follow-up, lunch or dinner, a quiet stroll. Low key is the way for me.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Honest, straightforward, kind, funny. Character is important, I can't do with lying or lying-by-omission. Whilst I try to not be superficial, I really would prefer someone a fair bit taller than me (if you're under 5'10" in bare feet I will immediately discount you, sorry).
You also need to fit within the age range 55-75. Outside of that will be immediate disqualification, sorry.

What makes a good relationship?

Honesty. Emotional intelligence and connection. Being able to sit in conpanionable silence at times, but also discuss and debate without hostility. Recognising a kindred spirit.

What makes you laugh?

I have a generally dark and twisted sense of humour, sometimes difficult to tap into.
But I also enjoy stuff like Blackadder, Porridge, Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Minty Python, Robin Williams, Have I Got News For You, QI, Mock The Week..

What music do you like?

Eclectic tastes. Kate Bush, Pink Floyd, Santana, UB40, Bob Marley, Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, Nat King Cole, Paloma Faith, Bjork, George Michael, Bruch, Carl Orff, Rachmaninov..etc

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

I could put the usual stuff about "having my children" or graduation.. there have been many highlights.. but if I'm being honest, it was seeing Kate Bush live in 2014, I thought my heart would burst.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Seeing out whatever time i have left in contentedness, whether that is on my own or with a companion remains to be seen.
