Hi, It's been kindly pointed out that my description is a bit too sentimental and I don't sell myself well. I am sentimental and never been good at selling myself, not that I realised I was up for sale, but I get the point.
I was informed that I should write things like I'm a great cook. I've never killed anyone so does that apply?
So for those that read my profile, I will try again.

I'm a sociable person, communicates well and can laugh at myself and you if you do something daft.
I've grown up children who flew the nest a long time ago and 3 of them gave me wonderful grandchildren.

In my 61 years I've been able to realise 2 of my dreams and have explored many places both here and abroad. The Cornish coast line is a place I've visited many times and sort of feels like home. Is that being sentimental? Probably, but it's true.

I enjoy doing all the usual things people do. More enjoyable with someone to share them with, I'm sure you'll agree.

As you can probably tell. My mug shot isn't photo shopped. Wouldn't have a clue how to do that. What you see is what you get with me. I believe in honesty, loyalty, being respectful and compassionate. I treat people how I want to be treated, always.

I'll still put this here. I'm looking for someone closer to my age, not young enough to be my son. I already have one and not looking to adopt :)

What do you like most about where you currently live?

My family is close by. I'm not too far from some lovely countryside and walks by the river.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I work for myself so able to organise my time.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I love musical theatre, cinema, walks, I write, holidays here and abroad, exploring places of interest.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

In the UK it has to be the Cornish coast, although there's plenty of places I still want to see. I love historical places which Italy and Crete had in plenty.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Places that have either historical features or breath taking scenery.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Meet somewhere we both agree on. Spend time getting to know each other, lots of conversation and hopefully laughs.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone with similar values to myself. That illusive connection.

What makes a good relationship?

Communication, friendship, trust, honesty and lots of affection.

What makes you laugh?

Anything from my grandchildren's giggles to a good comedy.

What music do you like?

I like most kinds, especially 60's and songs from musicals.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Apart from my children and grandchildren. Getting a degree at the age of 53 and publishing my books.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Seeing my family achieve everything they're able to.
