Hello, I'm Paul, a retired teacher living in New Brighton. I'm a fit, active, youthful & recently widowed 74 year old. I consider myself to be a survivor, having recovered from surgery to remove a colorectal tumour 10 years ago and open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve 6 months ago. I spend my time in a variety of activities such as keeping my gardens in order, bits of DIY around my house & I play golf 2 or 3 times a week. At home I tend to read, listen to the radio, watch TV series & sport as well as the odd movie. I enjoy holidays abroad, both lazy ones in the sun and also more "adventurous", having driven around America, taken train journeys across Canada, Europe and a 15 day, 7,500 km trip from Beijing to Moscow on the Tsarengeld private train. I've also taken two cruises along the Danube, one on the Nile and one around Norwegian fjords. I'd love to find someone to do that with again. And, of course, I have the same needs as men half my age. I hope I'll be lucky!
