Hello,

39 year old guy looking to meet new people, preferably for a relationship (though open to other types of connections in the meantime).

Appearance wise I think it's safe to say I'm not exactly a catch; I'm only 5ft 6 tall (a deal breaker for many of you, I'm sure), a bit overweight (working on losing it though), blue eyes, dark hair and (as you can probably tell from my pictures) I hit more than just a few branches when I fell from the ugly tree!

Oh, also I don't drive. Despite me never scrounging for a lift in my life and always offering to travel to people this seems to also be a deal breaker for people for some reason. I also quit drinking alcohol last year, which is undoubtedly going to put some people off too.

If you can get over the fact that I look like a cross between Shrek and Warwick Davis (or at least that's how these dating sites and apps make me feel sometimes!) you'll find that I am a kind, considerate person who likes to make people laugh and can talk for England once I feel comfortable with someone.

Hobbies and interests include spending time with my dog, meals out, video games (mainly retro and indie single player games), watching football and going to gigs.

As for what I am looking for, I am looking for kind, fun to be with and good to talk to. Preferably around the same age as me or younger. I don't have anything more specific than that at the moment as I like to keep an open mind when it comes to meeting new people. A picture showing your face is a must though, you'll get no reply from me if you don't have one.
