What do you like most about where you currently live?

It's very convenient and I can leave the car at home, everything is on my doorstep.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Like many people, the best part of my job is the end of the day when I go home! After my job applications for astronaut and racing driver were turned down I decided to lower my sights and joined the insurance industry. It's not deeply exciting but it pays the bills.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I enjoy tinkering with my classic cars and try to get to the gym at least once a week. I enjoy walking my dog Harvey.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I like Scandinavia and Iceland is my favourite destination. Don't like anywhere too hot but have been to some off-beat destinations such as a weekend in Moscow and a day trip to Kraków. My next holiday is Cuba, can't wait!

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Always fancied the Inca trail but also happy to go polar bear spotting in Spitsbergen. Seriously, the world’s a big place so anywhere new is a bonus.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Something fun to break the ice, such as roller skating or 10 pin bowling and then perhaps a nice meal. Even a cup of tea is fun with the right person! And if the night is still young then who knows?

What are you looking for in a partner?

Honesty, fidelity and fun.

What makes a good relationship?

Trust and understanding.

What makes you laugh?

People who take themselves too seriously.

What music do you like?

Just about anything really except opera and free form jazz but being a child of the 70s that's where my love of music is. Just play Heart FM's club classics on a Saturday night...

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

The day I first held my newborn son in my arms. Yes, men can be soppy too...

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Holiday in Cuba aside I don't really know, I prefer to live for the here and now! nothing's sacred and anything can be taken away apart from memories. So enjoy life and concentrate on making those memories!
