About Townie
Townie's relationship status wasn't listed as an option and is seeking females for friendship or a casual relationship.
What do you like most about where you currently live?
It's on the edge of a small, quiet town, unlike the awful stressful city that I had the misfortune and stupidity to spend the previous 62 years of my life in. I should have made the switch sooner.
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
I don't have formal 'employment' any more so it leaves me free to do DIY, community oriented work, socialise with a wide range of people and concentrate on the things that I have always liked but were too busy with 'work' to be able to concentrate on.Freedom, personal appreciation, variety.
What are your favourite leisure activities?
Cycling, festivals, touring.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
Wales, Scotland, Germany, Luxembourg.
Where in the world would you love to visit?
Alaska, Aleutian Islands, Šiauliai, Arkhangelsk in Russia in Winter so that I can walk on the frozen sea.
What would you do on an ideal date?
Go ice skating and see if I can still do it.
What are you looking for in a partner?
Somebody with a fun attitude and a zest for the slightly unusual things in life, like me.
What makes a good relationship?
Sharing a similar intellect
What makes you laugh?
Wittiness, dry humour, black comedy.
What music do you like?
Rock, pop, folk, C&W, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, 20s Detest freestyle jazz but organised jazz is fine. I like to listen to a variety of music on my (too loud) equipment as and when.
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
Gaining a university degree for the purpose of advancing my career and then realising that that was no longer what I wanted out of life.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
More touring, continuing in my current voluntary work that I love and don't need to switch off from (impossible to get angry or down whilst doing it), remaining physically and mentally active.
If I were filthy stinking rich (tuition fees not a problem) I would spend the remainder of my life studying for additional university degrees in a variety of subjects that I have a newly born (last 15 years or so) interest in such as law, medicine, finance, psychology (I studied that years ago to O/A level) and during semester breaks tour the world more widely than I have so far (mostly mainland Europe independently).
Did you take the free personality test?
Yes, I failed :-(
As mentioned above - Profile Rules:

Well, apart from the 'no contact details' bit that rules out all of my best modes of expressiveness :-(
