About Sidthesloth76
Sidthesloth76 is divorced and is seeking females for friendship or a serious relationship.
What do you like most about where you currently live?
It's a council estate (I know I know!) but it's right on the edge of town next to the countryside. Lots of parks/outdoor spaces around and a gorgeous little hamlet round the corner.
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
I'm not in paid work.
I volunteer at a local homeless shelter/charity in their sewing department.
In my spare time ... and I have a lot of it... I make small tote bags for Bolton Hospice.
What are your favourite leisure activities?
I love sewing. It relaxes me and keeps me busy. I also enjoy taking my dog out on walks.
Gaming sometimes and watching films.
I did spend some time at a community allotment but college timing has put a stop to that unfortunately.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
Never been out of the UK in my life. I love camping when I can afford it. Anywhere quiet away from the hell that is suburbia.
What would you do on an ideal date?
Reaching for the stars maybe but...
A quiet relaxing day spent in coffee shops and walking around parks, preferably hand in hand.
I hate the city and love the peace and quiet of the countryside but...I do enjoy silliness, so nothing too serious.
What are you looking for in a partner?
Ok...
I'm a short, toothless, bald, unemployed, physically weak man who isn't all that interesting. I have no interest in getting rich or powerful or even successful. I'm quiet, not the life of the party and I'm ok with all that.
My ideal woman would also be happy with that.
I'm sure the line of women queuing up would be pretty short but I'm hopeful :)
In short...a lady.
What makes a good relationship?
Trust. Nothing else works without that. Oh...and humbleness.
No one likes an egomaniac.
What makes you laugh?
I've a dark sense of humour. Sarcasm, trading insults with friends.
I never tire of watching Rick Mayal and Adrian Edmondson.
What music do you like?
Depends on my mood at the time. Everything from 90's trance, 80's pop and rock, heavy metal, blues. Except jazz and Brit rap which is painful to listen to.
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
Watching my two daughters grow into beautiful hard working young ladies despite being brought up on council estates.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
Growing old with a loving but mischievous woman to support me when life goes pear shaped, keep me on my toes and who will be happy to give me a crack round the back of the head with an empty coke bottle when I act like a pleb.
Aren't you dead yet?
Not quite.
I'm a stroke surviving type 1 lifelong diabetic who suffers from depression and anxiety. For those of you who haven't run a mile yet, it's not as bad as it sounds.
The stroke leaves me feeling a bit tired sometimes and I get dizzy if I look up too long. The diabetes is something I'm barely keeping under control but it is improving...slowly. Rest assured I'm not going to suddenly slip into a coma or have a spaz attack in the middle of Tesco. The depression, whilst it raises its ugly head every once in a while, doesn't mean I spend my days wallowing in self pity or blubbering my eyes out if the beautiful girl in the movie gets dumped. The anxiety makes it difficult for me to sit in crowded noisy places long. No clubbing or parties for me I'm afraid.
I lack confidence. So pretty please with sugar on top, if in the unlikely event I make your knees go wobbly, say hi! I'm unlikely to make the first move.
