I am a 68 yr. old, heterosexual, active male. I have been divorced since 2017 and really would love to find a female companion to share the journey along the way. Very physical attitude to any relationship. Definitely a boob man. Love cuddling and intimacy, (which I miss a lot). Spontaneous Afternoon Delight, sums me up pretty well. Hopefully, you will see things that way too.

Active DIYer with a comprehensive tool kit. I like to maintain and service my car, which saves many, many £££££. I find television can sometimes be uninspiring. On other occasions, I will pay rapt attention to some dramas and documentaries.

Pubs and their activities (quizzes etc.) can be entertaining. Walking I will suffer, particularly over the Downs overlooking Hassocks, Ditchling, Plumpton, as far as Lewes. This was my stamping ground as a teenager and remains forever imprinted on my memory. Still pretty clued up on the Brighton area too. One of the biggest attractions throughout the year is the London to Brighton Veteran car run. Particularly if a good observation point can be found on Clayton Hill.

One time biker and Police Traffic motorcyclist, with very high levels of training. However, another refresher course would not go amiss!

What do you like most about where you currently live?

Burgess Hill is near to my home town (Hassocks), but not quite close enough!

Within shouting distance of the South Downs, Brighton and Haywards Heath.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I am a retired Police officer, so not a lot of work related interests in retirement. In all honesty, so much pleasure can be found in meeting people via work related interaction. Which basically means that I should have never retired!

Meeting a like minded lady is my passport to a satisfying lifestyle.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

During another life, I owned several caravans, which allowed adventures all over the UK and parts of the Continent. My ex and I had a favourite site no too far from home, from where we could spread our tentacles including visiting the sights to be found in London. Alternatively, a lazy day with feet up and a meal at the nearby pub, was a regular option.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Thailand was the most interesting holiday of my lifetime. The Canary Islands, particularly Tenerife provided some great holidays. Visited most of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean too.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

No hesitation in replying to that one. Back to Thailand again. Again and again.

What would you do on an ideal date?

The first date has to be the all important event, where getting to know one another over drinks and/or a nice meal and a coffee should set the tone for a worthwhile relationship.

What are you looking for in a partner?

A lady who is kind, loyal, honest (doesn't lie) who appreciates the pleasures and satisfaction of intimacy and cuddling. Someone in a similar answer somewhere, has mentioned spontaneous lovemaking at 2.00 am. That has happened for me, but nothing like enough!!! The two of us waking up unexpectedly and indulging ourselves at that crazy time of the morning really does appeal.

What makes a good relationship?

Communication is essential (or so I have learned). Understanding ones partner and listening to his/her requirements will go a long way towards making for a happy, rewarding and lasting relationship, which should not be based solely on one partners terms. Best to learn at a very early stage what is and what isn't acceptable to both. Not recognising this feature can only lead to an unhappy relationship, which should never have proceeded beyond early encounters.

What makes you laugh?

Funny experiences and a good comedian providing endless patter.

What music do you like?

Good old Rock & Roll. Status Quo, Dire Straits and Co. Most of the 50's, 60's and 70's groups with all of the reminiscing that goes with those years. Fleetwood Mac and their amazing skills combining emotions, instruments and music generally.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

My years (31) in the Police force, provided unbeatable excitement and the satisfaction of bringing wrongdoers and anti social morons to heel. I defy any other job to beat the experiences to be gained in the Police.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

A reliable and happy relationship, without any luggage influencing that relationship.

The heart fluttering, tummy turning feelings which arise from being really close to My Girl. Just sharing our lives and enjoying each others company.
