Phew, this isn't the easy bit. you all know that.
Time for a bit of an update (September 21- under state surveillance of course.)
First, you have to be able to communicate, with a bit more than a LOL and a one word answer. The amount of people who bleat on about good communicator stuff and the stock answer all the time is LOL is amazing.
Second. Having tried this dating stuff for a little while now it is becoming easier to spot the 'timewasters' and dare I say liars and fantasists who spin you a line, the latest being a request for a £20 phone credit. I ask you!! I am not a meal ticket, babysitter, friend with benefits, or a person who picks up tabs for holidays, handbags or surgical procedures either. (I kid you not!). My job involved forensic checks so I like to think I can see through the cracks.
Me? No baggage here! No bardy teenage kids, no ex-'s demanding etc:-!
Seeking a caring, intelligent, communicative lady who likes the nice things in life, but above all can re light my personal spark!
I work hard, play hard, but need a cherry on my cake. Dare I say a soulmate and potential lover! I have tailored an age range on this site (age is but a number of course).
A few more titbits!
Photos-a bit dated 2018-I will get some more pics up shortly. Just new glasses really!
Love scones with all the trimmings. Mmm, scones! Love Lindt ball pralines
Should be a medal to the designers of Coke Zero.
Meal on death row! Pan fried rib-eye (I am a meat eater, but I DO like vegetarian food and salad mixed) whilst watching an episode of Family Guy series 8! Or that scene from Carry on Up the Khyber at the end when the Raj was collapsing. Remind you of any government in these trying times. The thing with comedy is timing and those hit it off! Pull a gag, but if you cannot time it you are stuffed. As you guess I love comedy and if you cannot laugh at things, mostly yourself, then...
I love to travel and did go all over Europe regularly! (More on application-hehe). Yes, bite your tongue in the airport! Hopefully things will improve.
I am a traditionalist in many parts. I hold the door for a lady, and like that kind of mutuality.
However, I am very very liberal in many opinions, related to sexuality, race, gender and more. Personally, I detest the way bullies operate and attempt to dominate in infinite numbers of ways.
I will tinker more as the time takes.
Hope you like it so far?
What do you like most about where you currently live?
Cream tea, being able to laugh at each other and society in general (we laugh at the trains-a crime in France) and the culture of the public house, where you build your community.
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
Flexibility. No I'm not a millionaire, never will be, but arranging my time, to give a work life balance is important to me.
What are your favourite leisure activities?
I ride my bike to de-stress. I am still trying to make the perfect scone, and travel-not just to see the next tower, but to taste and enjoy the culture of foreign lands.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
Estonia, Northern Ireland, Slovenia, but I am open to discussions and arguments.
Seaside and mountains? I cheat-both.
Where in the world would you love to visit?
New Zealand, please!
What would you do on an ideal date?
Feel relaxed, laugh and communicate in a mutual environment, be it a restaurant, a cafe or a park, with bread for the ducks of course.
What are you looking for in a partner?
Someone to relight my fires, who is honest, caring, open-minded and fun to be around. Dare I say a soul mate who can trade secrets.
What makes a good relationship?
Not being too serious about life, life's mishaps, but above all a listening, compassionate and thoughts.
Who said you have 2 eyes, 2 ears, and 2 nasals, for a reason. Use them!
What makes you laugh?
The ability to laugh at yourself and laugh with those close to you. Life's too short as they say.
What music do you like?
Anything, except grunge, thrash and hip-hop. Is it music.
(Oh and Christmas records should only be played between 20th and 26th December, shopping malls note)
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
Publishing 2 books that raised over £10,000 for charity. Give something back.
