What do you like most about where you currently live?

I spent most of my 20s living in London and loved the fast pace and a great music scene, but I am settled now in leafy Surrey, still within easy reach of London, but enjoying the countryside and clean air.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I retired from an engineering management position quite a few years ago and this is leaving me much more time to pursue my love of music.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I enjoy live music. I play in a couple of bands and also like to get out to gigs to see other bands. I love to record and engineer music in my home studio and have produced a few albums for release.
I like to keep fit and I cycle and swim regularly.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I have very fond memories of California, Cuba, Thailand, Singapore and the Caribbean.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

South America is on my bucket list

What would you do on an ideal date?

I am usually happy to let my date to take the lead in choosing, but for a first date, I would prefer somewhere quiet and intimate, so we can talk and find out more about each other.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Be nice if she was cute, but a good conversationalist

What makes a good relationship?

Honesty and caring are really important

What makes you laugh?

All sorts. A bit wacky

What music do you like?

Most. Probably blues my favourite

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

I had the privilege to manage an engineering project in California and really got into the Californian lifestyle
