RAVDAV is widowed and is seeking females for friendship or a serious relationship.

I am a quiet person,with just a few good friends... About once a week I take a drive in my car to a few of the nearby villages and spend an hour or two walking around before either dropping into a local pub for a snack and half a cider or eating a packed lunch.On one or two other days I can be found painting in oils.. .either landscapes or abstracts...I have a small collection of other artists works ( perhaps too many !! ) Evenings are split between factual docs. or reading..Not interested in travelling abroad... I travel in my own mind,, helped by reading about late Victorian coaching and early motoring [ Think J.J Hissey ] ...Music...think Granados piano quintet in G .minor.. 2nd movement .Favourite painting perhaps The Sun of Venice by Turner...A female friend describes me thus- David is honest, intelligent, has a good sense of humour,has compassion and kindness, and he has a great appreciation of nature.Next.. do I suffer fools gladly ?? Yes , certainly... I have enough sense for ten..--..Addendum , I recently started playing badminton, and continue to enjoy a game of table tennis.

retired ! and very much enjoying it
