Hi, thanks for taking a look at me, it's not a long read, maybe take you a couple of minutes, read on! So, what am I? I guess I’m something unlike your average 50 odd year-old bloke? Unusually I don’t like football, cricket, golf or rugby, odd eh? I’m not really a sporty chap but have started swimming to help the dad type bod and the archery, I like walks and I do archery. My hobbies include photography, reading and I have an interest in computers and technology. Maybe that makes me sounds a bit of a geek, but not at all!

I like meals out (though I can cook, not too badly), enjoying English, Chinese, Indian, I love a good fish and chips takeout or a pizza too. I'd be very happy snuggling on a sofa sharing a glass of wine and watching a film or listening to some music or having a chat and a laugh.

I like holidays, who doesn't? I have travelled widely in the UK, trying to keep away from the big cities. I used to caravan in a previous life, but now prefer to camp in Premier Inns etc. I have also travelled quite widely in USA having been there 7 times, mainly west coast road trips and to Florida.

So, what am I looking for? Probably the same as you? I’m hoping to meet someone with whom I can grow old(er) with, someone who maybe shares some interests. As we get older it seems more important to find a real proper relationship, what do you think?

You may find me a little “quiet”, take that to mean South Derbyshire for “shy” if we meet, but should we hit it off, I might well talk your ears off! I am generally very "open" too, I have a slightly sarcastic and dry sense of humour and am able to laugh at myself. I’m a jeans and tee shirt, or maybe rugby shirt in winter kind of guy (not much for dressing up)... I own my own house, car, hair and teeth, the last two are still properly attached!. Lets start and see where things go?
