Hi Im Pete who is a friendly mature semi retired bachelor living in the countryside of Goring. What do you like most about where you currently live?

I have recently just moved into this area but i love how the fact its a nice quiet countryside village. Theres loads of nice views if your into going for walks and the local transport is close to where i live so very handy if want to go out on day trips

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Im currently semi retired for personal reasons but if i can get my health a little better then hopefully i can find myself a part time job in the new year

What are your favourite leisure activities?

After doig some research i have bought myself a treadmil to help with getting back in to fitness and lose some weight. Other things i like to do are country walks, travelling , theatre & art galleries plus the usual stuff like watching films, video gaming and reading Horror Novels by Stephen King.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

My favorite places i been to in the past have been varied so hoping to find a nice partner with who i can share and make new memories and explore new places

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Because i am a true animal lover I would love to visit the wild kingdom of africa or Kenya. Or visit culture historic places in rome or paris but these are just a pipe dream and my favorite place i like to be is at home with my two black cats Gizmo & Salem who are my world

What would you do on an ideal date?

Ideally for first dates I prefer the lady to be spontanious and think of some place out of the ordinary. Im not into the pub scene as too noisy so i guess somewhere nice and quiet perhaps where we can chat and get to know

What are you looking for in a partner?

Ideally looking for someone genuine ,who is kind and caring with a patient and understanding nature. I like straight forward blunt honesty then playing mind games. I would also like a nice lady who likes cats, is organised and prefer that you are a non smoker / vaping I dont mind social drinking but nothing heavy and def not into illegal substances or narcotics.and also somebody genuine who understands that not everybody is the same so ideally prefer non judgemental people

What makes a good relationship?

A good relatonship works best with trust, honesty and communication are the main key points to a happy relationship which is something I am yet to find. there are days when i can be very quiet around people but thats how i like to do things as i seldom like being the centre of attention all the time and I dont need expensive cars, jewelry ect to have a good life I prefer the little small gestures as they mean more to me. So looking to date somebody who has a patient calm understanding nature

What makes you laugh?

Im a big Lee Evans Fan and went to see his final Monster tour at the o2 but i do like to watch Jeff Durham comedy shows aswell.

Other stuff i like is to watch the 80s classic comedy shows like Only fools and horse, red dwarf, open all hours and I do like my crime tv shows aswell like criminal minds & The Rookie

What music do you like?

Something thats easy on the ears and not very loud. I like jazzy accoustic beats. Favorite artists are bryan Adams, Michael Boton, Phil Collins, Ub40 , meatloaf to name a few

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

My greatest achievement to date has been owning my first home, I had been battling pnumonia for the past 6 years which was very challenging. so trying to get my health alot better. Since moving I am now trying different ingredients for the kitchen and learning to cook new things that will be healthy for me. I have also gotten back into fitness with my own treadmil to see if it will help me to lose weight. So living the dream as they say but would be nice to share that dream with someone special

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Been single for the past 13 years so expectations are high and daunting but hoping in the future to maybe meet a nice lady for platonic friendship and to finally settle down for a romantic courtship but for now I am not going to rush into anything straight away and unless i meet someone who can bring true balance to my lifestyle then i wont be changing my relationship status anytime soon.
So I am living the dream as they say but would be reallynice to share that dream with someone special but in this cold dating world I know thats mission Impossible but would be nice though
