What do you like most about where you currently live?

I love living in Plymouth, you're never far from the coast or the moors. I also love that you've got a bit of everything here: beaches, bars, restaurants, history, countryside not too far away… and enough going on without it feeling like you're living in the middle of a city. 😊 Basically, I like having the best of both worlds… although I'm probably more likely to choose a nice pub with a sea view than go hiking up a bloody hill. 😂

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I like knowing that what I do can actually makes a difference to people, even if some days it's definitely more challenging than others! And after all these years, I must admit I quite like being good at what I do. 😉

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Anything that gives me an excuse to get dressed up and have a good night out. I’m an armchair Argyle fan mainly but do get to the odd match. I love weekends away, exploring somewhere new, good food and a few drinks with good company. I'm also perfectly happy with a lazy night in, curled up on the sofa watching something rubbish on TV. And, apparently, I have a slight obsession with tarot, angel cards and anything a little bit woo-woo. 😂

Where in the world are your favourite places?

For me, it's probably less about the actual destination and more about who I'm with, what we're doing and whether there's a decent bar or restaurant involved! 😉

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I'd love to see New York at Christmas time 🌲

What would you do on an ideal date?

Something where we can actually talk and have a laugh. A nice meal or drinks somewhere with a bit of atmosphere, maybe a walk somewhere scenic afterwards, and see where the evening takes us. I love a bit of effort and thought, so it doesn't have to be expensive or elaborate, just make it feel like an actual date. Good conversation, plenty of laughing and hopefully both of us going home thinking, "I'd quite like to do that again." 😊

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone kind, genuine and confident enough to be themselves. I love a man who can make me laugh, has a good sense of humour and isn't afraid of a bit of banter. Communication matters to me, as does making an effort and actually being interested in getting to know each other.

I'm looking for a genuine relationship with someone I can have fun with, make memories with and build something real with. I'm not in a rush, but I'm also not looking for something casual or just a bit of fun. Basically, someone who wants a partner in crime, not someone looking for a pen pal! 😉

What makes a good relationship?

Trust, honesty and good communication plus plenty of laughter. I think you should be able to be completely yourself with someone, enjoy spending time together, but still have your own life and independence. And, importantly, both people need to make the effort. It shouldn't feel like one person is doing all the work. ❤️

What makes you laugh?

Good banter, quick wit and people who don't take themselves too seriously. I'm easily amused by stupid little things, inappropriate observations and being able to take the piss out of each other without anyone getting offended. 😂

What music do you like?

My music taste is pretty varied, but I have a definite soft spot for cheesy pop! 😂 Take That, Robbie Williams and plenty of 80s and 90s classics will always get a reaction from me. If I can sing along to it in the car or dance to it after a couple of drinks, I'm probably happy! 🎶

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Wow. Im 53! There's been a lot of life 😃
Probably all the experiences and memories I've collected along the way... travelling, great nights out, concerts, holidays and some brilliant people I've shared them with. I've had plenty of ups and downs, but I'm proud of the life I've built and I'm looking forward to creating plenty more good memories. 😊

What are you looking forward to in the future?

I'm looking forward to making the most of life and seeing what comes next. More travelling, weekends away, new experiences and plenty of laughs along the way. I'd love to meet someone special to share some of that with, but I'm also pretty excited about the life I'm creating for myself. 😊
