Almost retired, recently single, newbie

Apparently I’m at the “early retirement” stage of life — which sounds very grown up for someone who still gets excited about live music and last-minute plans. I’ve spent my working life in finance, so I’m sensible when required… but thankfully that’s no longer a full-time job.

Music is my happy place. My taste is all over the map — from Gary Numan to country, with Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll getting plenty of airtime lately. If there’s a gig on, I’m probably there. Bonus points if you’re happy to sing along (in tune is optional).

I’m the human mum to a vocal slightly bonkers Bengal cat who is also very opinionated about who she likes.

I’ve recently closed the chapter on a long relationship, and now I’m looking forward to meeting someone who brings a spark, plenty of laughs. Someone who enjoys good conversation, doesn’t take life too seriously, and fancies making some new memories together. If you’ve got a great smile and can recommend a good gig or two, we’ll get along great.
