I'm 41yrs and recently made single after a 12yr relationship. I have 2 beautiful (if slightly demonic) daughters aged 8 and 5, however their sass level is way up in the teens lol but I secretly love it.

I didn't think I would be out in the dating world so soon, as my current situation is just a nightmare, I was kicked out of my family home of 8yrs by my ex after my mental health detetriated and I tried to end my life. Please understand I was in a dark place where I was putting my partner and daughters' mental health as a priority and ended up not talking care of myself, hence the silly thing I tried to do.
As I needed emergency housing due to having nowehere to go once kicked out I have ended up in a bedsit in Croydon, I hate it and the place scares the hell outta me, a farcry from the boy who was born and raised in Camden Town, NW.London.

I have mental and physical health issues, I've had Chronic Sciatica since I was 18yrs and so over the years Ive had surgeries and Physio but have reached a point where I have to manage with pain medication everyday and can(na)8is, I do not let this stop me going out as by nature I am an outsidesey guy and will always push myself through the pain in order to enjoy beauty, plus I have to bus back and forth to see my little demon..gorgeous girls :) Which leads me into the I Do Not Drive part. It seems this is a massive issue for a lot of women, the truth is that I never had a need to drive and so never learnt, I had public transport to anywhere needed and I mostly would ride my bike where I needed to go or rollerblade there, I realise now as an older man it would be a benefit and will look into that but I'm not rushing it, my prorities are to get myself into a better situation so I have a home and so my daughters can stay with me whenever and however long they want. Seriously I cannot stress how much I love my babies.

The above is not one of those "feel sorry for me" paragraphs, I'm an honest and loyal person and believe any new friendships should know what they are getting into.

I have no expectations of finding anyone willing to even entertain me and my current mess but maybe there is someone who would be happy to be friends and just conversate with me.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

I do not like where I currently live. Its a nightmare I'm hoping to wake from soon.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Not currently employed due to health issues

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Going for walks, movies and tv, reading, wood carving and whittling, playing videogames.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Amsterdam and Greenwich Park

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Ive never really been one for travel, however seeing Greece and Rome would be fantastic!

What would you do on an ideal date?

Go for drinks on a sunny day by the river, talk ans build a connection with someone.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Trust and understanding, honesty and open communication, a genuine want to get to know me and not be sat there looking at their phone screen the whole time.

What makes a good relationship?

Willingness to understand and appreciate we have differences, being comfortable with yourself and not projecting insecurities. I'm a very supportive partner if you let me be there for you.

What makes you laugh?

Dark humor, totally random comedy, the skits that I play out in my head which only I find funny.

What music do you like?

Drum and Bass is my goto, however I have a very eclectic taste as I was raised on Classic Rock, grew up with Jungle and DnB and Trance and House, then later in life found Breakbeats. Have to say though I am very partial to 80's Synthpop and New Romantics.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

My wonderful and beautiful daughters, they are my world and seeing them grow into these fantastic humans is what I live for.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

A more stable life, a home I can share eith my daughters and have them stay with me whenever they want to and I guess also finding someone I connect with, I want that newness of butterflies and nervousness again, I want to feel like the person I am with is genuinely into me.
