What do you like most about where you currently live?

Local shops hold good sense of community, but life in Sheffield can be lively, friendly and a good laugh.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Relative ease of the job, out on my own most of the time. Delivering up and down the country various stuff like catering equipment for hotels and pubs, to cash machines and electrical cabinets. Great to see the country and meet so many people along the way.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Running is my number 1 activity, having run Sheffield Half Marathon several times. Rest of my time taking youngest son to his football matches and training where he is goalkeeper, as well as his fishing trips.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Newquay, most of Devon and Tenerife. Bruges also in Belgium- such a beautiful place with plenty of breweries.
And, although I've never had a holiday there, I'm aching to visit Ireland.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Ireland and Jamaica.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Obviously, I'd let the lady have first ideas, but I'd think a pub or restaurant meal, followed maybe by another bar or cocktail bar.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Companionship where conversations flow naturally between you. You feel at one together, like you're meant to be with each other. Chemistry and understanding both mentally and physically.

What makes a good relationship?

Togetherness, understanding and respecting each others needs and desires. Being able to talk about absolutely anything, even if it's just meanderings and being daft.

What makes you laugh?

Natural sillyness, witty comments or even just a look. Not taking life too seriously, to a point, obviously.
Most stand-up comedy I find a good laugh.

What music do you like?

Where do I start?! Ok, indie like Oasis, Arctic Monkeys and Gorillaz. Rock from Guns and Roses to Foo Fighters and Royal Blood. Fair bit of chart stuff, but like classics like Bowie, Queen, George Michael down to the Pet Shop Boys.
Dance music for high energy, especially on a running playlist!

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Watching my boys growing into confident, intelligent, considerate and practical men.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

I'm open to visiting new places and enjoying time away from my work life. Actually enjoying life from the simplest things to planned adventures
