Few miles on the clock. Few dents. Body works seen better days , now days I have a strawberry shake and my butt jiggles for like a week… I struggle to get into gear sometimes. My mouth goes from 0-60 in 0.3 seconds and gets me in trouble before my brain catches up..

Seriously tho, so I’m me, bit crazy. I have my issues but who doesn’t ?

I’ll be the first to admit I’m far from perfect.

I’m fully aware of what I’m looking for too, I’m not after a chat buddy, or a hook up, I’m looking for something long term , I’m not getting any younger and tired of being on my own! I’ve been seperated 2 and half years now, with the divorce approaching its final leg…

Dating so far in the last few weeks has sucked the life out of me.

It’s hard work isn’t it? It’s like a war out there trying to find someone

Ghosters are out and it’s not even Halloween.

I don’t mind if some one isn’t interested just say , it’s the way of life. But to tell you stuff like they want to proceed in seeing each other then they are just gone without a word.. lol twice in two weeks that’s happened lol makes me want to ask my exe wife ‘so whats wrong with me’ lol even tho I filed for divorce lol.

Atleast I know she will tell me how it is haha

But yeah dating today sucks the life out of all of us!

I love a good banter , I can hold a conversation, it’s important. I can’t be dealing with the one word stuff. And as for the thumbs up malarkey. That’s so 2010 and yeah I don’t even respond .

But other then the madness that is dating

Some of you may think this guys. Crazy, desperate, whinges a lot or is an apparent red flag!

But a lot of you will relate I think, as I know women on these things have it so much worse!

As a lot of guys will say what ever they need to with one end goal. Which is wrong !

So final word on dating is (it’s a treadmill)

Ok my living situation is

I live alone In Merthyr Tydfil. But currently working in Weston supermare so stay down there when I’m working in a hotel which currently is most weekends

Door work (I hate it)

I have a good sense of humour. Well I would say that wouldn’t I?

What do you like most about where you currently live?

Well I love the beach. great night life, it’s England haha (I’ve been away to long)

Since 2009 I’ve bounced about wales. America then back to wales . So it’s nice to be back home

As the Welsh didn’t really take to me

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Payday? Is that a acceptable answer? lol it’s a job

I’m a security guard. Has risks. But don’t all jobs?

At the end of the day it pays the bills and contributes towards the tax man’s golden toilet seat

Usually work nights, but I honestly do venture out onto day shift on occasion. I do work alot but that can be changed if I meet someone. I only work as I’m on my own and there’s nothing worse then the sound of silence it’s deafening

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I like reading, I like cooking, i absolutely love theme parks (not done a uk one in 20 years tho) lol

And dating is definitely a rollercoaster now days.

I love diy. Which is strange as never used to, untill I became a handy man in America.

Love walks. Listening to music (the old stuff) that’s real music … unlike today’s madness

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I don’t exactly have favorite places

I like peace and quiet and that can be found in alot of places…

Nice countryside retreat is just the ticket

You don’t have to go global for that

But if you ever get the chance, visit, lake arrowhead, crestline and running springs in the San Bernardino mountains in California

Absolutely beautiful! Way more beautiful than wales.. upto 6500ft above sea level. Was a beautiful way to live

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I’d like to explore Europe

And I don’t mean the major tourist destinations

I’d be happy to see the smaller towns and villages as I believe they are the best experiences

What would you do on an ideal date?

Ideal date would be one where they were completely comfortable, in a pub or whatever having a drink in a public place and having a good chat…

And that’s it , as the key to a good date is relaxing and you can’t do that if your not comfortable

Good conversation and that’s it. No going back to each others places. Leave it as it is. And see if you get another date

What are you looking for in a partner?

I’m just looking for someone who doesn’t play games , who is a good communicator and not the master ghoster, good personality and that’s it

Communication is key, looks are unimportant, or is location , my exe wife was in America so hardly a issue jumping on a train for me

What makes a good relationship?

As I just said above communication is key

Dating today it’s a minefield lol, what with people bouncing from one person to another, the ghosting , not knowing what they want etc

And I make myself laugh lol it’s bad I know

I like golden oldies 60s-80s they don’t make music like that any more

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

I don’t think I have one if I’m completely honest

A lot of people would say their kids, but my son and our situation isnt your typical situation,

But I’m glad I had him. But I didn’t raise him, his mum did and I can’t take the credit there

So highlight? I’d say surviving the madness that is life

What are you looking forward to in the future?

My retirement, however with the age keep being raised I might not make it lol but maybe that’s the plan for us all

-I’m seperated and the divorce is way under way (I filed)

- I’ve been single and separated 2 and half years so I’m a little out of practice

-I DONT bed hop! If I’m in I’m in! really old fashioned

-honesty is imporant

-I hate cutting my hair and shaving lol

- I do have a few issues from past trauma that do make me get offended or defensive but it’s a work in progress , I don’t need a therapist!! My issues do not define me! But better to be honest

-I really hate not being able to not have my say on things for instance, when a random troll on line messages you and talks rubbish then instantly blocks you! I mean seriously allow it to be two way! Grinds my gears be it a stranger or someone you know! We are adults!

I met a great girl recently, I mean restored my faith in humanity, and I won’t have a bad word said about her, but she didn’t like me getting defensive (I wasn’t violent) but that’s fine. So that didn’t work out, she met someone else a few days later and I’m so happy for her. We just wasn’t to be. Everyone deserves to be happy!

- I’m not looking for casual, I’m looking for a relationship as I’m tired of being on my own now. (Sounds desperate) but honesty is best!

I’m just looking for my bestie, someone I can chat with, banter with (and damn I can banter)

Someone I can actually care about

- pineapple on pizza is wrong on so many levels

-never ever eat pears they make your chin get all mushy
