I live a quiet social life... and my life feels mundane. I've failed - so far - to find my soul-mate.

Online dating - especially when one has a public photograph - does not seem easy. I've decided not to post one... and I'd fully understand if this means I'm not of interest to iconophiles who have chosen to post an image of themselves.

I feel doing this is an experiment. I think the written word can be far more seductive than photos could ever be... they focus the mind differently. I remain someone whose mind works visually - but, I think, descriptions of visual things can be much more intimate... and show more than a 'selfie' could ever manage. If you were to describe your appearance to me, I'd find that much more fun than judging it from a photo... it matters, to me, how you see yourself.
