I've not been here for a while and am currently contemplating what I shall write here!
I will update this bit as soon as possible.
What do you like most about where you currently live?
My garden, family close by and easy access to transport : )
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
Mmmm...I'll give this some thought. I've been questioning the pros and cons recently!
What are your favourite leisure activities?
I know many people put 'run of the mill' stuff here - and quite frankly, I can be 'one of many'. For me, life has to include reading, writing and spending time with the people important to me. I enjoy DIY but usually have to be pushed into getting on with it. That said, this year alone, and we're only into the eight month - I have transformed my garden, finished decorating the bathroom and finally put up shelves I've long since threatened to do.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
Beaches...hot sunny ones. My garden...when it's hot and sunny. The park...when it's hot and sunny (there's a pattern developing here!) And, my bed - when it's not hot and sunny : )
Where in the world would you love to visit?
Portugal, Cyprus, Scotland, and lots of other places too.
What would you do on an ideal date?
I would try to appreciate who you are...even if there was no 'spark' : )
What are you looking for in a partner?
Tall, dark, handsome, rich and witty are often not all they're cracked up to be. Therefore, a man who is comfortable in his own skin, with a good sense of humour would be a good start. If you are intelligent, considerate and a good conversationalist, these attributes would be greatly appreciated too.
I like real people. I'm not into facades, b**lsh*t, flights of fancy, lies, game-playing and ignorance.
One cannot know a face until we have seen it in motion. However, at the risk of being perceived as shallow, there's something about a man's physical presence that I find appealing. Therefore, generally speaking, I struggle to 'hit it off' with someone shorter than me.
What makes a good relationship?
Two people willing to give an equal effort to make a go of it. That means, two-way communication and the ability to care about another - almost as much as you care about yourself.
What makes you laugh?
Billy Connolly, good times with family and many TV comedy/panel shows.
What music do you like?
A vast array of artists...good tune, good vocals, I'll listen to most anyone. Not overly keen on blues or jazz...actually - I can't stand them!:)
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
There have been many...
What are you looking forward to in the future?
Today is tomorrow's yesterday - so I think I'll let the future sort itself out :)
