I’ve reached the age where getting excited about a Friday night means finding somewhere comfortable to sit and remembering where I put my glasses.

I’ve had enough experience of relationships to know that I’m considerably better at being single than I am at making them work. So, rather than pretending I’m looking for my soulmate, I’m after something a little more casual, uncomplicated and mutually enjoyable.

I’m easy-going, reasonably house-trained, sarcastic, own my own teeth and come with my own baggage — although thankfully none of it has wheels.

No drama, no games, no promises of eternal love after three drinks. Just two consenting adults having a laugh, enjoying each other’s company and seeing where things go.
