About Kezzabezza
Kezzabezza is divorced and is seeking males for friendship.
What do you like most about where you currently live?
I'm in an exciting phase having sold my home in Staffordshire and in the process of buying a smaller place now that both my boys are grown up and have moved out. I'm currently in a family property in Cornwall while sale/purchase goes though. I'm born and bred Cornish but spent 30 years away so I'm rediscovering all my old haunts. Mainly the moors and country lanes with the dog. I have close family nearby for the first time in many years which is great.
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
Recently sold my business of 22years so am a (busy) lady of leisure right now. Always find something productive to do.
What are your favourite leisure activities?
I walk my 6yo Border Collie every morning (no one dissolved in the rain) and have found some nice 'lane loops' in varying lengths. Like a good hill/vista over Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. Like a good film and enjoy cooking. About to start off some seeds for my new garden. Love hanging out with friends and family and it's cool being educated by my two neices here in all manner of stuff. Recently learnt how to felt (sheep wool). Not sure if it's a life skill Mary the sheeps wool was fashined around a bar of soap. Haven't worked out the purpose of that but it was a giggle. Had a go at gliding and would love to do that again. No engine to break so felt safe. I just go with the flow at the moment as getting used to having no boys school or football schedules to adhere to. Self indulgent time wasting would be my main thing right now although I have enquired about fostering dogs which is a sign I need to get busier!
Where in the world are your favourite places?
Bodmin Moor near Henwood. Kilmar and Sharp Tor and all the rugged moors around. Riding or walking around Cornwall. Childhood wise, Starra Bridge over the Lhyner river down the lane from where I grew up. Being around animals any kind from tiny to agricultural size. Grew up on a small pig and goat farm in a tiny hamlet in Cornwall. Warrens Bakery for a good pasty.
Where in the world would you love to visit?
Promised old clients/friends I'd visit them in the Shetland Isles years ago and would love to go. 13hour ferry ride from Aberdeen so takes a bit to get there. (I used to sell horse insurance so have an equine thread running though a good bunch of my friends).
What would you do on an ideal date?
Have a meal I didn't have to cook. Get to know someone walking and talking is always good with maybe an activity thrown in ? Try not to panic as I've never been on a date in my life. Have always met people through social situations and computer dating is very new.
What are you looking for in a partner?
A balanced, well rounded, settled person who has had life experience and enjoys sharing fun chat.
What makes a good relationship?
Honesty. Sharing a sense of humor and interests. Sociability and being able to be open to new ideas and experiences. Having respect for one another.
What makes you laugh?
When my dog trips over (feel I can't say a child!). Good stand up comedians. LOVE a good comedy club. Billy Connelly, Eddie Izzard, Amy Schumer to name a few. I wander around with a smile on so am always ready to see the humor in daily life. Gotta laugh!
What music do you like?
I'm not a music geek but I have BBC Radio 6 on in the kitchen all day and they play a bunch of eclectic stuff. I went out with a singer signed to Fergal Sharkey at Uni so got bombarded with all sorts. As an aside he confirmed I have the worst singing voice known to man. Happiliy agreed. I've gone through all sorts, Joni Mitchell, Roy Harper, Portishead, Roots and Reggae (can't remember much of that brief period), house (ditto). Not so fond of my mothers enforced Christian music when I ride in her car!
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
Big question! Could pick a few.
Raising my two amazing boys. (predictable).
As a kid winning the junior open showjumping at Royal Cornwall show.
Scraping through education to degree level. My memory is awful so doesn't bode well for my dementia path!
Having an amazing family and friends dotted all over. Treasured. All about connecting with people every day in passing hello's or long term friends.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
Finding a new partner in crime to have fun with and forging genuine new friendships and maybe a relationship?
