There are probably lots of reasons why you have never tried fly fishing for trout from a boat before. Too busy, don’t know how to get started, don’t know where to go, don’t want to get in trouble… It doesn’t have to be like that. Everyone new to it needs a helping hand to get started. Fishing can bring you so much enjoyment plus a bit of physical and mental therapy. Getting out into the beauty of Scotland’s countryside and enjoying an inner calm, which is harder and harder to find these days. A well-deserved dram and some good food afterwards as you dissect your day on the water and remember countless little, wonderful moments that appeared that you never imagined. It’s a fine way to spend a day - or more.
