For my Beloved

Her smile is like
The opening of the crescent
Moon to me.

"A White Bird Wing Flutters"
The pin cushion fell
Lightly to the floor,
Followed the slender white hand
To retrieve it's lost possession,
A white fluttering bird wing
In a slow gentle movement of sewing,
The Scarlet shawl
Embroidered with gold thread,
Wavering the white bird hand
Moves in its flight,
Along it's seam
With golden stream trailing,
The fluttered wing
Silent in its flight,
Slows to rest,
Sleep the Scarlet shawl, finished.
