Bookselling Coffee drinking Dad to two grown boys (19 & 20) and a married daughter who has made me a proud grandfather, twice so far. (Are grandchildren supposed to be more expensive than the originals?). Interests in a very incomplete nutshell: Music~Ska, BlueBeat, Punk, Motown (stuck in the late 70s), Books: Reading, Literature, Finding, Researching & Selling, Collecting, in fact just generally being about them, Literary Dark Corners are my Speciality. I still write with Fountain Pen and prefer ink to texting when ever the opportunity permits. Usually in Doc's and Ben Sherman or Fred Perry hardly ever suits and ties. Walking in and about Swithland & Charnwood, Coffee and food in & out, History, Conversation, Current Affairs, Shopping, the whole off grid/self sufficiency appeals massively, Aspiring writer of story stories. Moustaches and Ink, I've quite a bit of both.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

Here through necessity at the time so honestly...not a lot, looking to move asap.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

A life long love that occasion pays a bill. I get to delve into boxes and bags of dusty old books almost daily, occasionally I force myself to sell one or two.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Walking in the Woods, spending time with
my Boys, Daughter and Granddaughters. Reading, conversation, music and occasionally just starring Into space. I used to Fence back in the day but haven't for a long time, maybe need to find a seniors club someplace.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Norway, Finland, Lapland, the great Northern Forests.

What would you do on an ideal date?

I think a mutual kind of thing, never to early to share interests even if just a coffee shop or restaurant. Unless of course I'm aware that you like surprises !

What are you looking for in a partner?

Honesty, fire and desire

What makes a good relationship?

Honestly, openness, no such thing as too much communication.

What makes you laugh?

An endless list of things, a few: Matt Berry be it Toast, Laszlo, Inspector Rabbitt or Dr Lucien Sanchez. Frankie Howard (I grew up watching 70s TV with my Grandparents). Terry Prachett, My Grandkids trying to 'Jump Scare' me. Successive Governments (laugh & cry). The list goes on...

What music do you like?

Blue Beat, Ska, Motown, Punk, anything put out by Trojan Records.
