A little about me... I suppose you could call me Mr. Reasonable. I live in a reasonably good house in a reasonably good area. I have a reasonably good income. I'm resonably intelligent and have a reasonable sense of humour. I'm resonably fit and healthy, and I'm reasonably bad looking. Well I can't be good at everything, can I? Oh and I'm also a reasonably bad singer. Not that I dislike singing and if I'm in a pub with a load of other people singing the Wild Rover, I'll get right in the mix, but ask me to sing a solo and you will surely regret it.

So who and what am I looking for? Well, I am tied with caring duties at home so although I would like to, I can't get too far involved in any huge romantic love affair. Nevertheless, I have some free time a couple of days a week and I get away from time to time and travel, both in this country and abroad, and it would be great to find someone like-minded to go with me. Meeting someone locally would be good to see if the chemestry is there. I've learnt by experience that people are not always the same as we imagine they might be through texts or phone calls, so better to meet casually first. However, I'm not rejecting seeing anyone, anywhere. As I said, I like travelling, so nothing ventured, nothing gained.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

Plenty of life around, yet within walking distance of the countryside

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Retired but doing rewarding voluntary work

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Watching live bands, especially tribute bands. Going for walks before collapsing into a coffee shop.

America, The Canary Islands, and here in the UK

Australia and New Zealand

What would you do on an ideal date?

Cup of coffee, a chat about whatever turns up, and just getting to know someone

What are you looking for in a partner?

Not really looking for a full time partner. Just loyal friendship

What makes a good relationship?

Honesty. No lies. And the ability to see the point of view of others, even if it is not your own view

What makes you laugh?

Classic TV sit coms. Showing my age, The Likely Lads will always be my favourite.

What music do you like?

Rock music. The Who, Oasis, Fleetwood Mac and many more

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Having a wonderful family
