I’m a genuine, down-to-earth and easy-going guy who believes life is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
I’ve been in a marriage for many years where, although we still live under the same roof, we have effectively lived separate lives for some time. Six years ago, one of life’s simple pleasures came to an end, and despite hoping we might talk things through, that chapter of our relationship never changed. I’ve accepted where life has brought me, and I’m now ready to meet someone new and see where a genuine friendship and connection might lead.
Life has thrown a few challenges my way. I had a serious bout of sepsis which resulted in a lower leg amputation. I’ve adapted to life with a prosthetic leg and I still walk, drive and enjoy getting out and about. It has certainly taught me not to take the good things in life for granted.
I’m honest, sincere, trustworthy and caring, with a good sense of humour. I’m looking for a woman who values warmth, affection, companionship and honesty.
I’d love to meet someone to share good conversation, meals, days out, little trips, laughter and new experiences. Someone to enjoy life with, without pressure or drama — just two people who enjoy each other’s company and look forward to seeing one another.
Ultimately, I’m hoping to find a genuine friendship that could grow naturally into something deeper. A kind, caring and affectionate woman who is also looking for companionship, warmth and someone special to share life with.
