Hiya, I'm new here. I'm looking to meet a lady around my own age, in the Manchester area. I'll write more here later.
I always say I"ll write more later, now later is now and I'm not really used to writing about me. I do write a lot, got tons of stuff stored on my pc that apparently is good enough to publish, but maybe. I'm happy home computers became a thing, no paper to lose, no losing what I worked on for years on the bus cos I fel asleep and nearly missed my stop, and left a folder on the bus in '99 in London on way home from work, never saw it again! I was gutted.
England won the World Cup in the summer of 1966, and in SW Scotland I was born!
Mostly Scottish but there's some Scandinavian in me as well.
I'm a class 1 HGV driver and sometimes I like it, sometimes I hate it, .Wages don't reflect the stress some days. Driving standards are worse nowadays, I've had the ratracers stamping on the anchors right in front for no reasons, and trucks auto brake nowadys, sensors see whats there and truck brakes if needed, but heavier trucks with liquid loads brake differently to lighter trucks with a trailer full of tissue paper, so it can get spicy, they call it brake testing, slam on, watch the truck behind them skid and carry on. They even will do it when u have a tanker trailer on full of fuel, they dont care, oblivious to risks
I've had it twice in the past few years, one time I had to crash into the barrier to avoid going over the top of his car. He knew he caused it but was off like a shot. Anyway, everybody has a dashcam now. Seems like the only decent road users are bikers, truckers and some car drivers now. People don't give a shti now, gotta 2nd guess all the time.Wages don't reflect the stress of it some days, but I wouldn't wanna do anything else.
Anyway, blue eyes, silver hair, 1.88m tall, 100kg in weight, I like music, loads of different genres, grew up in the new wave of British Heavy Metal era, so that's kinda stuck with me and often dress to reflect that, jeans, new rocks, leather jacket on the odd occasion I'm not in workwear and get to wear my own stuff of late.
