Davidhonest is separated and is seeking females for friendship or a serious relationship.

I am an old fashioned gentleman, the kind that wears a shirt and tie and likes to hold hands with a lady friend. I am pretty level headed, polite and friendly. I was married for thirty-six years, but split once she got violent. I don’t hate her, but it’s over. But I now miss female company. Someone to share things with, like visiting places around the Lake District, going for a coffee or to a restaurant or pub. Something long term if possible. But that would also depend on you.

I am well educated and reasonably travelled, mainly Europe and Canada, where I have presented scientific papers at conferences. I have given up driving, but I have a bus pass and a passport. I live on my pensions, both private and state. I have worked for BAe Systems and Airbus, as I am a specialist in aerospace construction. I have also worked in civil engineering on steelwork. I am a bit of a boffin, but definitely not boring about it. Honest! Just saying! And I have a sense of humour.
