What do you like most about where you currently live?

It is as close as being in nature as I can get. It is peaceful, calm and quiet. I can get out into the modern. World whenever I want to buy this is my safe, healing place.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

After semi retiring from a long legal career my current we krk is about identifying and solving problems, using initiative and creativity. I also meet lots of new people which I love. I am working with my hands and my brain!

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I love being in nature. Weekends walking in the Lake District. Theatre, gigs, reading, camping, riding my motorbike when it is on the road.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Several of them are in Italy, especially Florence and also Rome and Venice. I have travelled in Peru and Bolivia which was amazing. I have also been around Europe extensively, in the Middle East, Singapore, Bali and Lombok.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I would like to travel more in Italy and to visit Africa and Australia.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Be somewhere that my date and I could relax and talk. Probably with food and drink not far away.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone who loves and craves me as much as I'm lover and crave her.

What makes a good relationship?

Trust, respect, honesty, integrity, love expressed practically and deep, abiding passion.

What makes you laugh?

I have a very dry sense of humour. I love wit and storytelling and if you make me laugh (and I like to find humour in everything) then we are very much more than half way there.

What music do you like?

A wide, wide range. I love classical music, popular music, traditional jazz and swing, Cuban Jazz and dad on, country music, rhythm and blues and much more.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

The birth of each of my 2 children and standing at dawn, at the Sun Gate, looking down at Machu Picchu in Peru.

Meeting and falling in love.
