I am retired but do voluntary work. My biggest passion is music, listening, going to gigs, and trying to play it. Not very well, unfortunately, but it's fun. I like learning new stuff and generally I am reading a book to learn or for research. Plus, I'll also be reading one for pleasure.

I love laughter and humour, comedians from back in the day to three of my favourite current'ish ones. Sarah Millican, Micky Flanagan & Bill Bailey. TV comedy stuff from Morecambe & Wise and Tommy Cooper to Miranda and Fleabag. Shaun the Sheep to Gilbert & Sullivan's comedy operetta’s. Theatre, movies, and practically anything live.

I have children and grandchildren and like spending time with them as well as with friends.
I am also a recovering former chocoholic who occasionally falls off the wagon and eats a family bag of minstrels. Hey, I never said I was perfect.
