What do you like most about where you currently live?

Love it - really nice town with choice of bars and restaurants and handy transport links for Manchester and beyond.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Flexibility and I'm trusted to get on with it. Great work life balance.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Gym 3 times per week, play poker online now and again (badly). Enjoy a drink in a pub - not too heavy though! Doggy walking as enjoy a lovely meal out (not not seafood!)

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Spain - enjoy the culture and trying to learn the language. Love a city break and have visited Riga and Bratislava recently.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Japan is top of my list as well as Australia, Thailand and Italy.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Happy with a pleasant meal in a quiet restaurant, or a coffee, beer, glass of wine in a nice country pub perhaps. Nothing to energetic or hectic for the first date.

What are you looking for in a partner?

A connection initially - being newly single for the first time in over 35 years I really don't know what to expect.

What makes a good relationship?

Shared interests, comfort in each others company, where it feels like there is no effort needed.

What makes you laugh?

Love a lot of TV comedies but I range from what may be deemed 'intelligent' to down right stupid slapstick.

What music do you like?

Indie / guitar type band mainly - big fan of U2 and Arctic Monkeys but also love a bit of cheesy 80s and Northern Soul.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

My children - no idea how I created such wonderful humans!

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Retirement and possibly moving abroad to live.
