What do you like most about where you currently live?

Views I live in one of the most scenic parts of Scotland.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I have just finished a period of self employment as a builder. Before that I had 38 years in the Army so retirement is something I am relishing.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

running,any sport; having a drink and socialising

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Rome it's a great place to visit but expensive.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

like to go to Egypt. I have been in many countries in Africa but not that one.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Just meet and make friends.

What are you looking for in a partner?

honesty and integrity

What makes a good relationship?

homnesty and integrity which gives mutual respect.

What makes you laugh?

laughing with people as opposed to laughing at. Like only fools but not averse to any comedy. Laughter is the easiest and most beneficial activity.

What music do you like?

all but favour Runrig and Capercaille

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Having a family and now seeing them raise theirs.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Rugby World Cup followed by another great season for Glasgow Warriors in the Pro 12 and hopefully European championships.
