I generally like to engage in activities and cultivate qualities that foster present-moment awareness, emotional balance, compassion, and inner peace. I enjoy simple experiences and authentic connections over material possessions or constant striving. The mindful person is happy and joyful. I have a cheerful disposition most of the time, and am willing to share that joy with others. I am old enough to remember times with no phones and no personal computers at home and life was generally a lot easier. Social interaction has shifted toward lower commitment due to the "paradox of choice" from apps, high financial/emotional stress, and a preference for immediate dopamine hits over long-term stability. Rather than live a life through the lens of a phone, I have decided that for the rest of my life, I'm going to live life the way I remember it before all the internet and madness of being connected ruined our society. I don’t fake it, don’t front, and don’t live for validation. Above all, I'm honest, self-aware, unapologetic, and real.
