I’ve recently realised that I’d love more female company in my life, so I’ve joined a few friendship and dating sites in the hope of meeting interesting, intelligent women. Music is a big part of who I am—whether collecting albums or performing—and I even pop up in a few tourist videos filmed along Canterbury High Street (though I’ve no idea where they end up!).

I may be a bit of a cliché, but I genuinely enjoy strolling or cycling by the sea, then pausing for a leisurely lunch and a drink. It’s an experience I’d love to share with others. Now retired from education, I finally have the freedom to spend time in museums and art galleries, soaking them in properly. While I’ve never been much of an artist with a pencil or brush, photography is one of my real passions.

Travel has taken me far and wide—from Australia to America, Greece to Iceland, Russia to Romania—and I plan to keep exploring new places in the years ahead. That said, I also love discovering hidden gems closer to home, with weekend breaks around the UK.

You won’t find me glued to Sky Sports, as I’ve never followed a team, but I do enjoy staying active with pickleball, cycling, and table tennis. I even have a badminton set waiting for its first proper outing.
