What do you like most about where you currently live?

Originally from Scotland but have lived in Newcastle for almost 20 years now. I've found the Geordies to be amongst the most friendliest people ever. Newcastle is a beautiful, vibrant city and I've been fortunate to call it my adopted home all these years.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

The people, and the variety of work. It's an ever-changing environment and that keeps my brain active.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Reading, cooking, baking

Where in the world are your favourite places?

South Africa, Maldives,

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Switzerland, Tuscany, Rome

What would you do on an ideal date?

Go for a nice dinner somewhere, then maybe for a walk along the coast stopping off for a coffee to round off the evening.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone who is loyal, funny, doesn't take life too seriously. Someone who knows where he is in life. Ideally tall, a beard and glasses are an extra bonus. Someone who is open-minded sexually would be nice too.

What makes a good relationship?

Friendship, honestly, at least some shared interests.

What makes you laugh?

Situations, people in general. I can also laugh at myself sometimes.

What music do you like?

Love the 80s (who doesn't), but other than rap I think I have quite a varied musical interest.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Obviously having my kids. But discovering a side to me that I didn't know I had was a revelation.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Moving into my new home and starting my life over just the way I want it to be. It's time to take care of my needs etc.
