Hello my name is Malcolm, yes I know reminds of those old sinex adverts (course you can Malcolm) , so stuck with it I much prefer malc.
How does someone who does not like describing themselves approach themselves on sites like this? If being brutally honest, maybe anything said based on opinion of self would send others running looking for a ten foot barge pole, then again if listened to those close who say have more than enough to offer, might be worth something, end of day, what’s best, who knows? You need to make the effort to find out.
Who am I, well basically just a down to earth type of guy, tries best for all rather than self, has to be said. Just want remainder of life without all the aggravation that’s got to here, just needs good times with good company,
What does that involve? Enjoying country side, coasts, well anywhere there’s a vast amount of water has to be said, days away somewhere different maybe not been before.
Also enjoy live music rather than the false pub jukebox type of thing, preferably noisy crowded, definitely not sat in some comfortable auditorium, so opera etc, no way, my tastes maybe a bit odd, definitely looking for the slightly different, if you’ve ever heard or seen Hayseed Dixie, you’ll understand what I mean, always wanted go Glastonbury etc, as yet never made it, but the rough and ready is more me.
Other things I enjoy is photography so anywhere that has a place is ideal.
In past I have worked worldwide, been and seen some amazing places, some maybe not so amazing and possibly risky. (Yes the mainstream news makes you believe one thing, the reality makes you know how it really is).
So summing up as mentioned before, rough and ready is who I am also based on way things have been in last few years, tough as old boots probably springs to mind, case of ‘deal with it and carry on’ oh I’ve probably never grown up.

It’s not perfect, but it’s Comfortable and familiar

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Creative, technical finding solutions to problems quickly and in the past has given me, a down to earth guy the opportunity to see some amazing places around the world.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Photography, visiting interesting places.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

In the UK, anywhere by water, favourite place is Lake Vrnwy, you need to go to appreciate how awesome it is.
As for rest of the world, most the places I’ve been but India, Egypt are special.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Australia, canada as never been also India, Egypt, France again

What would you do on an ideal date?

Anything as long as both relaxed and at ease and gives opportunity to know each other.

What are you looking for in a partner?

deal person would be someone who take the time to find out who I am, (don’t judge the book by the cover) after all, you never know, will accept me for who I am, not try change me, what would be the point? Equally so I’m not at all interested in changing anyone, too much like control freakery (had too much of that, don’t need any more) and like I said what would be the point ? We either suit each other and move forward or we don’t and we go our separate ways.
Someone who is equally easy going and laid back, realises the past is the past and doesn’t hold crudités , someone who neither wants to be controlled and equally is not controlling, someone to enjoy days, evenings & breaks away together occasionally., also someone happy with themselves as they are instead of what others say they should be and as rough and ready as myself.

What makes a good relationship?

Accepting each others opinions without them being forced on each other, allowing each to follow their own interests, I could say having the same interests but we aren’t all the same so shouldn’t be restricted by that.
Togetherness and being able enjoy each others company.

What makes you laugh?

Silly things, anything that doesn’t make a fool of others

What music do you like?

Motown, Northern Soul, country blues especially live bands, in fact most things other than opera, jazz, rap

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Kids, grandkids, and countries I’ve visited

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Company and contentment
