About Bootilisious
Bootilisious is divorced and is seeking females for a casual relationship.
What do you like most about where you currently live?
I live on a quiet street but still quite close to all amenities. If I squint and twist my head , I can get a view of the river estuary from my upper window.
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
I have retired from paid work but still keep busy improving the house and garden.
What are your favourite leisure activities?
At this point most of you will move on to the next candidate. I enjoy building and displaying model railway layouts. There I’ve said it. Thank you and goodbye.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
I am fortunate to have a few places to choose from. Some truly fabulous islands in the Indian Ocean but my absolute favourite was when I spent a fortnight traveling from Vancouver through the Rockies and ending up in Calgary in time for the stampede.
Where in the world would you love to visit?
I would go back to Canada in a heartbeat. Failing that, I would like to visit Australia. I wouldn’t want to be restricted by time though as I wouldn’t want to waste any getting over jet lag.
What would you do on an ideal date?
An ideal date for me would be an evening in a village pub. No blearing jukebox, just the burble of conversation, enjoying a drink and chatting about holidays and model railways. (Just kidding, I’ll keep that subject for the second or third date.)
What are you looking for in a partner?
I would put punctuality quite high on my “like to have “ list. I know there time when it is fashionable to be late. And there are some would say it is the ladies prerogative and circumstance would allow that. Constantly late, I’m sorry you can let someone else wait for you.
I have a good sense of humour but it can be quite dry.. it would be nice to meet someone who would be in harmony with me.
The rest we can stumble through in the pub.
What makes a good relationship?
If you are able to understand each other and I don’t mean speak the same language, Know each other’s needs and help each other attain those needs
Please don’t expect me to read your mind. If you want something done ask me don’t sit there getting in a mood just because I couldn’t read your mind.
What makes you laugh?
When I was a young lad my folks took me to see a film staring Morcome and Wise. I found it so funny that my laughter bought on an asthma attack. I survived.
There is a certain scene in the film Blazing Saddles (the most stupid of films) they are all sitting round the camp fire eating beans when the inevitable happens. Gastrointestinal gasses build up and are emitted. Try as I might, you know when you laugh that hard it’s silent….I find farts funny.
What music do you like?
I was influenced by 70’s and 80’s music so I will enjoy any thin from the Carpenters clear through to Pink Floyd. You may know Great gig in the sky the solo vocals are so expressive yet not a word is sung.
The Cars, Who’s going to take you home tonight? David Bowie gave up time in his set during live aid for that song to be played and a video of starving African children was transmitted at the same time. I love that song but I hate what I had to see to hear it.
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
I should start with the birth of my daughter although I didn’t have very much to do with that ( I stayed up at the screaming end during the birth)
When my daughter phoned me to tell me she had fixed her shower/decorated her wall / bought her first power tool. Pleased to see that the acorn has not fallen far from the tree.
The first time I walked onto a tropical island beach. I thought I was in a Bounty advert. White sands, blue sky and sea and coconut palms brushing the sand. Hard to believe.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
Continued good health, good company and maybe a holiday or two.
