What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I’m a retired university lecturer(computing), currently working as a published poet. The expression of creativity is every bit as fulfilling as the teaching & research used to be.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Yoga, reiki, walking(used to run ultra marathons, rock climb & play rugby), good food & wine, TV(film noir genre).

Where in the world are your favourite places?

The Lake District, Snowdonia & T he Peak District.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

My siblings have been & lived all over. I’m not that bothered. European cities of culture & fine dining, perhaps?

What would you do on an ideal date?

Have a good walk, followed by a good meal, & then make love.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Intelligence, culture & common interests.

What makes a good relationship?

Good will, hard work, & that bit of ‘magic’

What makes you laugh?

Most things, depends on ‘the way you tell it’.

What music do you like?

Eclectic - Country & Western, To Mozart & The Beatles.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

My marriage, my career.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

As my wife instructed me, before she died, to find love, so mere existence become Life.

Are you disabled?

Yes. Full disclosure. Following a head injury, caused by someone convicted of dangerous driving, I developed OCD. This led to my retirement, on medical grounds. My wife was a senior psychiatric nurse, & she also took on the role of being my career. When she died, my younger brother volunteered, he says it’s manageable, most of the time.
