Hi my name is Steve and I am 56 years of age.
Maybe the first thing I should tell you about myself is that I have Multiple Sclerosis; Secondary Progressive.
Was diagnosed in 2000 & I consider myself to be very lucky to only have the complications that I have.
I'm just a normal guy, in touch with my feelings and emotions with a very positive attitude always looking on the brightside of life!
As sung by Eric Idle! (do you remember him?)
My Glass is always 'Half Full'!
I much prefer to be on the outside and occasionally looking in! if you know what I mean.
From a child I have always been a big dreamer of things I would like to achieve in the future and most of my dreams/visions have become reality which is a great thing as it's also great to reminisce about things you have achieved in the past.
But it's always good and beneficial to look forward!
Even though life has changed and a lot of activities are no longer achievable it still doesn't stop me from achieving what I can achieve.
It's also very enjoyable to be involved in collections at designated areas for the 'Berkshire M S Therapy Centre' where I attend oxygen therapy every Wednesday since 2010.
Once achieved a charity parachute jump for the MS centre to raise bit of cash which was fun!
I'm very happy and very comfortable living in a ground floor flat in Harmanswater Bracknell which has very calm comfortable surroundings, which makes you feel good because if I'm honest that is where I spend most of my time.
I like to witness the Seasons change and the nature that is around me!
In my spare time, which there is an awful lot of! I also enjoy many programmes on TV ranging from wildlife documentaries like 'love Nature'
National Geographic documentaries!
David Attenborough documentaries, can't beat a good old David Attenborough documentary.
I have been to many Moto GP events since the Sheene era!
But now enjoy to view on TV along with a bit of Nascar!
N. H. R. A Drag Racing on water or land!
Would love to experience the emotions of a visit to Isle of Man TT one year??
I think that is because I'm impressed with human determination & achievement and taking it right to the closest Edge that you can!
I also find it very lifting to watch the programs that show you how much beauty there is in the world that we live in!
A very wide variety of music is enjoyed, a little bit of everything is better to say.
I make my own playlists, different genres for different moods, but not when I'm watching TV well only light music sometimes when I'm watching nature docs!
And silent times are good as well especially chilling outside in a bit of the sun listening to sounds that are around me or with my headphones on listening to a good bit of chill music!
The MS has affected me in many different ways which can be a little bit awkward at times because I look perfectly ok on the outside, only inside its a bit of a mess!
Apart from what looks like a little horn starting to grow out of the left-hand side of my head! ??
We are all travelling the same road in the search for companionship, loyalty, happiness & love!
There is an awful lot that will be disclosed about myself and also asked about the lady who travels the same road!
when we bump into each other!
I'm hoping to come across a happy (maybe with a little bit of hidden nuttiness?? positive woman who has perfected the art of chilling with similar visions & dreams for their future so that we can chat and hopefully gell into each other's lives, have an interest & a respect for each other's interests and eventually be happy knowing that we're loved and that we love & care for someone to ignite the inner feelings that make you feel great!/alive! & on top of the world!
I think I've rattled on enough for now!
Good luck to all in your search for happiness!
