What do you like most about where you currently live?
I live in the outskirts of Chichester, with easy access to the town, which has always been a favourite area for me. I like that I can go walking in the Downs, eat in the many restaurants the city has to offer, visit the first class theatre.
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
I'm retired now. Like a lot of women of my age, the majority of my life was taken up being a mother, wife and homemaker, all of which I did with gusto. Now divorced with grown up daughters, i'v enjoyed learning new skills - which I'll tell you all about if we meet.
What are your favourite leisure activities?
Walking has to be top of my list of things I like to do. I read a lot - mainly crime and court cases, Ian Rankin, John Grisham, Clare Francis are favourites. I don't have a hectic social life, but I value my friends and the time I spend with them.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
In my time I've travelled extensively but Italy I think has it all for me. The really magical combination of good food, the stylish people and their language makes it always an enjoyable experience.
Where in the world would you love to visit?
Well, I would love to re-visit a favourite place of mine - Sicily. It has been a long time but my memories of this place have never faded. I hope one day to visit India - it would be a first for me.
What would you do on an ideal date?
My ideal date would be very laid back. At my age, you know who you are, and happy with that. I would probably like to meet in the late afternoon for a drink, then if all goes well, carry on with early evening dinner
What are you looking for in a partner?
Well there has to be some things in common - that's a good start. Then there has to be some surprises that wakes you up and you want to know more. Someone who has goals in life still to be fulfilled. A sociable family person, understanding and kind. Definitely with no baggage
What makes a good relationship?
I think a good relationship is one with no excesses on either side. An acceptance of each other's status quo, with no intention of changing each other. Happy to be in each other's company.
What makes you laugh?
I think I'm a naturally happy person.
What music do you like?
Depending on my mood, I listen to Leonard Cohen, Abba, Queen, Neil Diamond. Light classics, The Three Tenors, Il Divo, Italian and Greek folk.
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
On this I need a lot of time, because it's been long and very interesting this life of mine. I've always been adventurous and never content to take the easy option, which has led to some amazing outcomes. If however I limit myself to the more recent part of my life, I think my pursuit and achievement of new skills has pushed me beyond my comfort zone, making me very happy with myself. I think I'd call them highlights.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
I put a great deal into keeping myself fit and well because it's key to a full, happy and enjoyable life. I look forward to my continued annual visits to my family in America, enjoying my new found skills. However, I would love to think of the possibility of meeting someone new. Someone who will add a wonderful personal new dimension, bringing warm affection into my life.
