Hello people. Writing a profile feels like a sales pitch, but here goes lol
Always think of myself as being a very ordinary, down to earth kind of person, but everyone is special in some way I guess.
Feet firmly on the ground and not expecting to find a knight in shining armour here, a new man in my life, yes, hopefully.
I have a job, I'm not ready to retire yet, I would miss my work family. I am solvent, i own my home and I don't drive, but happy to hop on a train to come and meet you.
Not keen on prolonged screen chat, whatever happened to proper face to face conversation lol

What do you like most about where you currently live?

My home is not far from the sea or the countryside

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I can walk away from the office at the end of the day and forget about it, until the next day. lol

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Dancing, walking, eating out, the theatre and the cinema, and ofcourse weekends away and holidays :-)

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Italy, Spain and Majorca

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Anywhere that doesn't involve a long haul flight :-)

What would you do on an ideal date?

Depends on the English weather really. A walk and talk, stop for a drink and a light lunch perhaps.

What are you looking for in a partner?

I don't think anyone can be that specific, everyone is different. If I had to give one answer, a partner who makes me smile :-)

What makes a good relationship?

Compromise, honesty, loyalty, faithfulness and respect.

What makes you laugh?

All kinds of things lol

What music do you like?

Firstly music from my own era, the '70s and lots more.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

My life has been mixed and to be honest I can't think of a particular highlight. How sad is that lol, but there is still time :-)

What are you looking forward to in the future?

To meet someone special to spend my twilight years with :-) .

Are you happy with your own life?

Oh yes. Happy being independent, my job is ok and I love my dogs. Hoping for someone to enhance it not change it dramatically.

Do you think photos are important?

No, at my age I am not going to look like a model from a magazine lol Its all about personality :-)
